Sizing

Getting the fit right makes all the difference.

We know shopping for your dog online can feel like a guessing game. That's why we put this guide together, to make it as simple as possible so your pup ends up in something they actually love wearing.

Before you start

Weight is a good starting point but it doesn't tell the whole story. Two dogs can weigh the same and fit completely differently, especially with dachshunds and their uniquely long bodies. Always go by measurements when you can.

And if your dog is sitting right between two sizes, go up. Comfort wins every time.

How to measure at home

All you need is a soft measuring tape and a cooperative pup. Have them stand on all four legs and measure the following:

Back length

Start at the base of the neck and measure straight down to the base of the tail. For dachshunds this is especially important.

Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. This is your most important number for fit.

Neck

Measure around the base of the neck where a collar would sit. Two fingers of breathing room is the sweet spot.

How to find your size

Take your measurements and compare them to the size chart on each individual product page. Sizing can vary slightly between styles so always check per product.
